So ask: "Is there an age discount?" every time you check out, book a room, or renew a service. Worst case is a no.

At 55+, Ross Dress for Less takes 10% off your whole purchase every Tuesday. They don't advertise it. just tell the cashier and show ID.

Michaels goes further: 10% off every day, even on sale prices, with a free Rewards account.

Walgreens Senior Day is 20% off

On the first Tuesday of each month, Walgreens gives customers 55+ 20% off eligible regular-priced items. one of the biggest recurring drugstore discounts.

Ask IHOP for the 55+ menu

IHOP keeps a 55+ menu. the classics at smaller portions and lower prices, usually $9-$12. Servers rarely offer it; ask.

At McDonald's, ask for the "senior coffee". a real menu button, often any size for 50 cents to a dollar.

The $80 lifetime parks pass at 62

At 62, the America the Beautiful Senior Pass is $80, once, for life. entry to national parks and 2,000+ federal sites. ($20 gets an annual version.)
